There are some that will remember the days when record shops, (yes vinyl records used to be sold in stores!) and those shops had a magical room called the listening room. A place where anyone could select a record and listen for ten to fifteen minutes to determine if they liked it enough to buy it. Record Shop Radio is your listening room on the internet! We broadcast various styles and genres of music 24/7/365. Soon we will begin seeking new music from artists and groups from around the world, who have yet to be discovered and signed to their first recording deal. Along with classic rock, pop, hip-hop, rap music from the past Record Shop Radio (RSR) wants to look towards the future of all types of music. So, once again welcome to RSR, we hope you become an avid listener.

Listening rooms were such a great idea – really helped you connect with the music before buying. It’s interesting how much that experience is missing now, though I did find some related discussion about the resurgence of vinyl on https://tinyfun.io/game/whopper-clicker.
